I'm intrigued by the protests against the austerity measures.

No, they're not pleasant, but how else do people think that the country is going to get out of the mess its in?

In Greece ****ty leftists and trade unions protest just to protest. In Greek society the labor unions like to torpedo any reforms, anything threat to their privileges or salary, seeking to cause enough chaos for the government and their bosses to back out of any changes they don't like.

This culture of protest and rioting has been going on strong since the 1980's PASOK decade and Greece only has negative things to show to the world for it. The working conditions aren't better, the people aren't any wealthier, their state services are corrupt enough that they have to give bribes or use personal connections to get things done. But nothing ever changes in Greece, same old chaos and dysfunction as yesterday.

Geert Wilders, the courageous Dutch politician who stands alone against Islam, needs our help. His "Party for Freedom (PVV) refuses government subsidy in order to remain independent. All other Dutch parties receive government money." If one man stands up to the hordes of Allah and their leftist allies in the West, others will idolize and emulate him, going viral. What he does in his country could effect everywhere through inspiration. If he can trounce down politically correct taboos and coddling leftists in the Netherlands, then in any other Western country someone else can perhaps do the same.

They need someone like Margaret Thatcher.

She'd have sorted them out.
