Hello from the Hospital...

If anyone was worried what happened to me, I was skiing and lost control. My leg slammed into a tree. Instantly, my tibia and fibula broke, sending the sharp shard through the skin just below my knee. I had some arteries and veins damaged, but had a transplant from my right leg. So far I have had a lot of surgery, and have taken lots of pain medications. I feel really really miserable- the pain seems eternal. I won't fully heal until probably well into summer. I never understood before that such pain could be inflicted. I'm trying to grit my teeth, but I'm gritting them through tears and lots of horrible pain. I really miss the QBCommunity, but I hope everyone understands reasons why I can't be involved. If you'd like to send me mail that will be delivered to me in my hospital bed, I'd really like that.
