I do not pretend for a moment to believe that ABC/ESPN hired Rush Limbaugh for his football expertise anymore than I believe that the hiring of Dennis Miller was to insure that nuances of football would explained by a grizzle veteran of the NFL.

Limbaugh is a polarizing figures. If your target audience is right wing wackos than you hired the right person. Anyone else need not listen to this bombastic narcissist who believes that his every utterance is a pearl of relevance and enlightenment.

His hiring insures that I do not watch the ESPN football shows and that I boycott any and all endorsers of the program this egotistical turd appears on.
