Yes mate i was there in 92 for the 4th round qualifer in the f.a cup at your place.I knew we were going to have fun that day when we pulled into your ground and there was a message to us on your fence surrounding the ground. When we changed ends at half time & came to your covered end & none of you moved i knew that it would go off & it did.You had a few handy boys that day but we had a few aswell.Quite a lot of our fans moved away from the trouble but i was one of the boys that stood and fought.I never really knew that you had a firm until that day so i have had respect for you since that day.Anyway after that game we had trouble at Torquay (1st round) then Hereford (home & away) 2nd round & finally went out to Arsenal so it was good.It has been quiet here for a long time with only very isolated incidents since we have been in the league(wrexham(f.a. cup),Swansea & Bristol Rovers(league).Anyhow thanks for the memories.Regards & Respect to you.
Its good to get a reply, glad you have fond memories of the day. As an 18 year old on the frontline that day, I certainly do.
That off was probably the best we've ever had at home and all big games since have, not suprisingly, been segregated with away fans being held in.
If I remember rightly it was our goal that kicked it off and we just steamed you. Your scarfers jumped the fence onto the pitch and your boys stayed and battled.
Only Hayes away & Brighton away, both in the 91/92 FA Cup, topped the off with you lot.
Re the message - Fuck Offf Yeovil or die - 3 f's cos the twat who did it after the pubs shut the night before was too pissed to count his f's. That remained there until the ground was demolished in 1997.

might awake some memories for you.
Yes mate i thought something the same on the way home that day. There was a lot of singing & banter in your clubhouse before the game which was o.k.But when we entered the ground i was amazed to see a grand total of 3 OB in the ground. When it all kicked off they arrived like a load of flies & eventually took control. My 1 & only visit to your ground will always be rembered for that skirmish.Regards&Respect.Cheers.
