I am a huge fan of Neil, as I am sure that most of you are too. I am not sure how most fan clubs work, I know some have correspondance with the artist and some don't. I am hoping that this one does. My husband and I just got married on August 10th, and when people ask why or how did I know I wanted to marry him, I say, "Because he loves Neil Diamond as much as I do!" Most people our age, 27 and 32, do not, I am not sure why but that is their problem. Our wedding song is "Hello Again" and the help that I am asking for is that if anyone has correspondance with Neil or the show producers that they could ask him if he would sing that. We have never seen him live and I don't know what his show usually consists of, but it would make Mike and I so happy to hear him sing it in person. If anyone has this connection, I would be forever (in blue jeans!) grateful.

A “Legend” was born in Toronto when Bobby’s incomparable talent for impersonating Neil Diamond was finally realized in 1994. He has never looked back. Bobby has played with some of the biggest shows in the business including a ten-month tour of the US with Las Vegas based Legend’s in Concert, and two tours of Australia with Legends of Rock.
Bobby has performed at some of the best venues including the Toronto Skydome, selling out Vancouver’s Commodore Ballroom and onboard several luxury liners at sea in the South Pacific. If anyone who reads this knows what the name of the song the following Lyrics fit to: I may have some words wrong but I believe that they are fairly accurate;
"Susan takes you down to a place by the river, you can watch the boats go past and you can spend the night together and in the morning she will feed bread and honey which comes all the way from China..." then goes on to a line that "you will tell her that you don't love her" the rest is gone, this is a memory from when I was about 9 or 10 and I am nearly 40 now.
I have tried to find this song but I keep coming up blank, from what I can remember this was on an Album from around the mid seventies.
If you can help it would be graciously and gratefully recieved.

You've probably had a zillion responses to your question, but here's another anyway: It's a Leonard Cohen song, covered by a lot of different artists in the sixties. Go to website below to see the complete lyric.
There are some variations in the way different artists sang it, but I think the one above is Cohen's version. You might also want to look at the Joan Baez verson.

Yes...! My life does seem to have followed the song...
many moons ago I had the LP (also had the cassette that wore out from use - first decent auto-stereo system I had was chrisened with this album) of HAN, and would like to find it on CD. Needs to be an exact remaster - including the chat with the folks in the trees Which pressing is most true to original ?
