My boss's wife died on Thursday, so I'll be in town next week (wed, thurs) to help him take care of some things, but then it's back to Houston until at least mid/late-january.
I am considering going on unpaid leave after the new year, just to be able to go home for several weeks and take care of stuff that needs doing, like rebuilding my fence and the like, but that is contingent on a number of issues that won't be resolved until after christmas.
