Is It Just Me Or Is Food Getting Bigger?

It happened when I looked at the fingerling potatoes. They seemed bigger than I remembered them being. The same thing with New Potatoes. When I pick them out I really search for small ones. Then I remembered the last time I bought grape tomatoes, they seemed bigger. When I first got them , they were elongated and pretty tiny. Now they all seem more like cherry tomatoes and not as intense in flavor nor as sweet. Then I went to get some Roma tomatoes and had a devil of a time finding smaller ones.

Something's up. Instead of looking into steroid use in sports, maybe we need to do it in produce?
