Response to Ginger Ale Situation

Ask Dan Stein if he will bring in the Blenheim's.
He just might. Whatta guy!

Another thought is to ask Chris over at Bacchanal.
I haven't been lately, just once since Chef Pete left.
Anybody been? Occasionally I'd snag a Blenheim over there, but he couldn't keep them around. I asked him to please keep them in stock.

Another thing that Chris & I discussed was Reed's Ginger Brew. He concurred with me that they were his favorite.
At one time Dorignac's carried Reed's. Eve's Market (R.I.P.) had 'em and Whole Foods still does carry them.

The World Market in Harvey has Reed's in the cooler by the register. Get one of those "make ya own" six pack carriers and fill it up with Reed's! They only sell singles, altho I have requested the 4 pack. In the back by the beer, along the back wall, they have an Australian brew that is pretty darn good, Bundaberg.
Look for the Kangaroo.

Do not make the mistake of buying GUS Ginger Ale.
While some may like it, it is definitely not what you are looking for. Weak & mild, with a wisp of ginger.

Your mom & pop health food stores may carry Reed's or other Ginger Brews. I think I've tried them all.

What happened with Dorignac's & Martin's?
Are they just moving slow or what?

Gingerly,

Isabella
