After some time I'll make the network54 forums read-only. That way the archives will be preserved for future reference. I'll also post a link from the network54 forums to the new ones.
I'm not certain but I think the problem may be that you need to await an email confirmation after registering. Other people have experienced the same situation but were able to log in after the email was processed.
...said I have to get my parents to approve! I'm sure I clicked on the "born after March 28, 1995" choice. So now what? If I try to register again, will it tell me my name is already taken? Help!

Try it again with a slightly varied name like "Lakeview Gal" rather than "LakeviewGal" (note the space in the first quote). If that doesn't work, let me know.
...I got the message that the name is already in use (even though I put that space in this time). It appears to me that when I click on "on or after 29 March, 1995", it doesn't really seem to take - and the next screen already says something about having parents' signatures. Must be some kinda glitch.

I realize that I was clicking on born AFTER 1995! No wonder it didn't work - seems my brain wasn't working! (The damned TV is on, and I was distracted, I guess.) The problem is - now it won't let me register under any variation of LakeviewGal or even just plain Lakeview - even when I do click on born before 1995.
Sorry to be so much trouble! Is there anything I can do now to register?
