It has been brought to our attention that many of the images being posted on the discussion boards may be in breach of copyright. As there are serious legal issues involved with copyright breach, we have been left with no choice but to enforce the following policy on image posting:
If an image is taken from a book, magazine or other printed material, the poster must either own the copyright or have received permission for use of the photo from those who do own the copyright, unless it is an image that is in the public domain. Please note that images posted on E-Bay are not necessarily in the public domain. We would suggest that in this instance, as with all images on websites, the poster include the link to the website page on which the image appears, rather than linking directly to the image or pasting the image into their posting.
If you are posting a photo that you have taken, then you will need to credit it as your copyright, either by a watermark on the image or a note underneath the image. If you are posting an image with copyright belonging to someone else, you must credit the copyright owner in the same way.
We regret that if images are posted that do not comply with these guidelines they will be removed by the moderators. We thank you for your cooperation with this matter.
