when people join political parties or claim to be members, i dont think they are asked what their character is like or their sexual preference, sex cases and/or if they are kiddies killers/fiddlers.
I am sure if they were asked and they admitted it, they would not be allowed into the respective parties (other than labour of course). However, I would suggest that these questions are not asked and if they were then 99% would not admit to it anyway. I do not think that parties would knowingly allow people of this ilk become members.
If memebers were later found to be of the above, you would hope that any decent party would come out and make a statement and disclaimer etc
think that makes sense.
