I have made a few changes, where I feel it's needed. Like always I am not sure on every weight class, so I am going by what the wrestlers themselves are telling me, and what I feel will be their weight class for the upcoming season... The season will be here in no time.. If enough competition shows up at Augie this weekend look for the rankings to change, early next week....

I suppose everybody saw 189 posted by the "harvard guy" and figured I was going to gripe about Haeflinger...WRONG. Lock, I personally think that Wilmarth should be higher. He had a hell of a state series last year placing third. I think he will come back this year and you will see him on the top 3 podium once again.

LOCK,MEDINA NEEDS TO COME OFF,AND BERNIE STOTT IF GOES 152,PROBABLY RANKED ABOUT 8TH!I DONT THINK BERNIE WOULD WIN AT 160,BUT AT 152,HE IS DEFINETELY,OR POSSIBLY THE THIRD PLACE FINISHER AT SECTIONALS,BEHIND TROYE AND BENESH!

Why?

I understand you might just be picking some upsets but I'm kinda wondering

why do you have...

- Billy Gallo over Phil Miller (125)
- Chris Cox over John Bultmann (130)
- Pegg over Jay (130)
- Amy over McMasters (135)
- Why isn't will wright (clinton) on the rankings at 145/152? He's a legit contender to place this year...
-Sugden (argenta) wrestled 152 and 160 all summer so there is no way he'll be 171
- No way tuggle will be back at 171

Jerry Fischer wont be able to make 112 again with the new rules. Knoll and Fluty wont go to state at 112, no way.. Umstaddt beat them both this summer and the matches wern't even close... 112 is a whole different world from 103 and I think that they are going to be in for a suprise... take tommy hill for example

What Austin Jones? He was 4th at the Plano sectional last year at 145. Yes he did lose to Niels of Wilmington early in the year. He beat Goodwin from Wilmington in the Regional final last year. He also beat a couple of kids last year that beat Habbe from Sandwich. One was at sectionals causing Habbe to be eliminated. I think he will a state qualifier and make some noise at the Assembly Hall. I don't think he will place, but he will give those guys a run for their money.

thanx for not ranking acree at 160. the fact you only do the top 10 is a big improvement over rankster's rankings. i always thought you were a blowhard, but after seeing the way you compiled your rankings, u've proven that you do indeed have a lot of knowledge about wrestling. on another note, i like that keith knoll is ranked at 112, but he will do better than 8th this yr. in that weight class. i know keith personally, and for as long as i can rememember, he's never been really pushed in the practice room... that changed this summer when he went to J. Robinson. Those who doubt this kid should be prepared to be shocked come Feb. in champaign.
