119- benefield decisions decap p-7 o-3
125- nelson decisions beebe p-7 o-6
130- piertz majors martin p-7 o-10 (martin got pinned by gale im giving martin the benefit of doubt on this one, will pry be a tech or pin)

ok i gave plano the benefit of a doubt and oregon still beats them. face it, oregon's may not have been tuffer last year, but montini is all the plano sectional has now, and and now that montinin is down this year oregon rules the world. u got an opinion.. lets hear it.. ur wrong but heck lets hear it.

And a good Idea... I wish I would have thought of it...Whats everyone take? other than Wheat isnt in the Plano sectional....Good try... I like it and might use the idea later in the year!!!

John Wise and Rusty Wheat, both of whom you have winning in this particular match-up, are both from the Vandalia (south) sectional. Otherwise, I seem to agree with all your participants, just not totally with your predicitions.

Well, I haven't seen a lot of these guys in action. However, I was able to see of them at state last year. Here are the ones I could see going differently:
112: Ryan dec. Walk- Could go either way. Ryan turned it up when it counted. I give the nod here to the defending state champion by decision.
125: Beebe dec. Nelson- Hard to count out the two-time state champ who faces a brutal AA schedule. Nelson is a beast, however, as this could also be another toss up match.
130: Pieritz/Blake maj. dec. Schuck/Martin- I am hesistant to predict Martin as the Plano champ. This will be a large jump in weight for him. Blake and Pieritz are very close. Probably Pieritz, but Blake could win the Byron Sectional title as well.
135: Garbis maj. dec. T. Johnson- Garbis is as aggressive as they come. Might be able to pull off the tech fall, but I think a major would be more likely.
140: Colletti maj. Lind/Kindelsperger- Will Colletti even be at this weight? He is rumored to wrestle everywhere from 140-160 (no kidding). If he is, he majors either Lind or Kindelsperger.
145: McIntyre maj. dec. Harris- McIntyre is tough, indeed, but even tougher is being able to stick a Bronco. Look for a major decision.
189: Mucha dec. Tyler- Toss up. Just a guess.
Again, just my opinions on what could be different. No disrespect meant to any wrestler, as they are all talented and tough. Don't know much about 215 or Heavy, so I won't comment on those classes. Man, I am ready for the season to start.

I don't know if 189 can be included in the challenge. Any and all of the competetors in that weight have just about the equal chance of winning it. I think that one has to be left blank in the points. Just an opinion though.

its a new year, and oregon/byron sectional, if it wasn't last year, si better than plano's
103- Mcaffry majors lawton, p-4 o-0 (mcaff is too tough)
112- walk decisions ryan p-4 o-3 (walk is real deal) no change, sorry walk has worked his ass off this summer and ryan looked pathetic at some summer tourneys.
119- benefield decisions decap p-7 o-3
125- nelson decisions beebe p-7 o-6 (everyone wait and see, if they are both at this weight you remember that u heard it here first!!!)
130- piertz majors martin p-7 o-10 (Hard to pin a bronco? gale didn't seem to have too much trouble. haven't piertz and gale been wrestling at kwa.. and i do believe they are very close, i think garret blake will be 35)
135- garbis majors blake p-11 o-10
140- Coletti majors lind p-15 o-10
145- McIntyre pins harris p-15 o-16 (come on.. harris wont win 45 but who will? if they wrestle mcintyre will pin him with hip toss, so watch urself lol)
152- benesh decisions fowler p-15 o-19(benesh hates fowlers, time for revenge)
160- troye decisions pedigo p-15 o-22
171- winterhaulter pins Christensen(sandwich) p-15 o-28
189- tyler vs mucha.. no comment.. (ur right too close we will leave this one out)
215- vercelli decisions strathman p-18 o-28 (strathman may pull this out, he is way underrated, but if verceli or hartman was smart at all they would bump up to 215 and avoid the studs and medal easily.)
275- weak this year besides wheat, id say white over vittori though by decision, making final score 21-28 oregon .. aka byron sectional
ok i gave plano the benefit of a doubt and oregon/byron still beats them. face it, oregon's may not have been tuffer last year, but montini is all the plano sectional has now, and and now that montini is down this year oregon rules the world. u got an opinion.. lets hear it.. ur wrong but heck lets hear it. good feedback, i think this is the perfect predictions.

wenger has to beat benesh first which troye could barely do last year. i think benesh and troye are the 2 with the most talent, and i know troye has worked the harest out of all of them this summer but he wont make 152 he is too big. so the real match is going to be benesh vs wenger, i know a lot of people hate benesh but u gotta admit he is a good wrestler.

Troye weighs between 165 and 170 lbs right now. 152 is not out of the question. I go to his school and I see him every day. You guys make him out to be 180 or 185. He is not that big.

I don't know how you can say that Plano only has Montini? Two of Locks top four teams(That is all he has ranked) are at the Plano Sectional (Montini and Sandwich) Three of the Ranksters top five teams are at the Plano Sectional (Montini - 1, Sandwich - 2, Wilmington - 5). So how is Oregon better? Plano has better teams and in most cases, more ranked wrestlers.

A team can have 3 or 4 stand out kids who are bad asses and the rest of the team suck. Another team can have no stand out kids just a solid line up of decent kids. (DECENT) With so many teams only having a few stand outs or studs at different weight, that can make a sectionals harder. If you want to talk about teams and state then talk about TEAM state not INDIVIDUAL state, you two are both confused

I think it's rather harsh and inaccurate to say that the Southern sectionals are "horrible." It's not as if they are each totally shut out of the medal stand in Champaign each year. However, history has also shown these two sectionals to be weaker to their more northern counterparts (in terms of total placewinners and depth of quality teams). Each sectional has its own outstanding teams and individuals. Either way, I am just ready for the season to begin.
