Oregon had 6 individual champs and won the team title.

103 - Peterson (Oregon) dominated all of his matches. Andrukaitis (Rokford Lutheran) looked really tough until he met Peterson in the final. Leos (Burlington Central) took 3rd.

112 - Connor (Johnsburg) over Pichardo (Harvard) with last second points in the final. Raney (BC) 3rd.

119 - Warner (Or) beat Holder (SV) 3-2 in the finals. Both of these guys looked good. Bouton (Byron) 3rd.

125 - Gale (Or) was dominant in all of his matches. Baker (Stillman Valley) 2nd. Harding (By) 3rd.

130 - Schuck (BC) over Harding (By) 8-5 in the final. Schuck was in control in all of his matches. Firnbach (Jb) 3rd.

135 - Johnson (SV) over E. Bauer (Or) 8-3. Johnson looked very tough. Wellendorf (BC) 3rd.

140 - Kapraun (Hv) over Partch (BC) 8-0. Kapraun looked much stronger than the rest of the field in this weight class. Tuttle (By) took 3rd.

145 - Rogers (Or) was dominant in all of his matches. Dexter (BC) pulled off a stunning upset of Book (Hv) in the semi, but didn't get it done vs. Rogers in the final. Book took 3rd.

152 - Benesh (Or) look fantastic, pinning Giddings (SV) in 1:32 of the final. Giddings had a tough semi match vs. Wogomon (Winnebago) that he won in the last seconds on a stalling point and an unsportsmanlike point. Wogomon then smashed heads with Brady (Hv) in the 3rd place match, winning by a knockout injury default at 5:43 (Wogomon was leading 7-3 at the time).

160 - Sacco (Marengo) nipped Nash (Jb) 8-6 in OT. Very good match. In the semi's, Sacco really brutalized Bauer (Or). Bauer has a facial injury of some kind and was wearing a mask. Sacco must've knocked it off of him about 7 or 8 times. Connell (SV) pulled off a minor upset over Stott (Hv) for 3rd in a very tough match.

171 - Strutz (Richmond Burton) beat Snyder(Wn) 12-8 in the final. Strutz looked tough early with a 10-0 lead, but Snyder fought back to close the gap. Schultz (Hv) took 3rd.

189 - Johnson (Or) over Wilmarth (By) in OT. Lots of blood from Wilmarth's chin in the final. Very tough physical match. Looked like Wilmarth was going to get the takedown to win in OT, but Johnson muscled his way out of it and took Wilmarth down. Evans (RB) 3rd.

215 - One of the most exciting first period pins I've ever seen. Strathman (Wn) went after Haeflinger (Hv) immediately and put him straight to his back. From my vantage point he appeared to be pinned, but the ref was a little slow getting into position. Haeflinger then showed tremendous strength and toughness by reversing Strathman to his back and keeping the clamps on him to get the pin. I can't wait to see them again in Sectionals. Gminski (BC) took 3rd.

275 - Ohare (By) looked terrific beating Ekstrom (BC) in the final. Ohare is a very athletic 275. I was amazed when he brdged off of his back in the final. Bodi (RB) took 3rd.

Thanks for your analysis of the bnc!But your postings are kinda one sided at 152!You were jocking this Wogoman kid from winnebago, and ranked him to finish 2nd.Truth of the matter is,Wogoman spent 1/2 the whole first period stuck, with no call to the s.v.kid?I think now you should give some respect to the sv fans kid!
And that prankster guy is eating some crow too!Noticed
you didnt comment on many of the other 3rd place matches either? And noticed that you talked your kid up pretty highly,at a weak weight class?I dont like the sv fan,but he was at least knowledgeable, and some of his postings were good! And his kid wrestled well, and got beat by the best 152lber in the state!

Congrats to Rick Giddings for his 2nd place finish. No diss was ever intended and I was impressed with the move that put Wogomon on his back. The only thing I've ever said about Wogomon is that he "doesn't suck" as SVfan has said in the past. The only reason for the mention of the clash of heads in the 3rd place match is because it was so bizarre - like something out of a WWF script. As for my son, whenever he tears up a respectable opponent like he did in the first 3 minutes of his finals match, I'm gonna say he looked tough.

"OK GUYS,FIRST OF ALL,WHEN I POST IT WILL BE IN ALL CAPS!SECONDLY,I WILL NOT HIDE MY IDENTITY!3RD,I KINDA ENJOY SOMEONE ELSE,STICKING UP FOR MY KID,CAUSE PRANKSTER IS BIAS!" <--- posted by sv fan on matmen board.

OK, on matmen you state you are not mike jones, but in fact you are because you were not smart enough to realize you forgot to log out of your sv fan name before posting with mike jones. good one. i called it the second you posted with the name. i am not bias at all, i go by results, check the new rankings.

You might be a redneck if you try to cover up that you are using a new name then forget to log out of your original name when using the new one.

nice job.

IM ON A ROLL WITH ALL THE GIRLS I KNOW
I KNOW YOU WANA HIT THAT

kind of interesting that in the above post Mike Jones does not like SVFAN. So is SVFAN really saying that he does not like himself? lol
