Why isnt Vince Lind going on to Sectionals....I was looking forward to seeing Lind vs. Taylor at state....was it his knee that kept him from wrestling....whatever it may be i wish him good luck next year....

Was very easily distacted by his girlfriend... He decided it was more important to be with her on Valentines day at the high school dance than to wrestle at sectionals... From what I have seen and heard he is whipped... Its to bad.. Cause he had a great chance this year....

Nobody was more shocked than me PC. You got a great 140 pounder there with Luke Taylor. Vince and him have wrestled twice and they've been great matches. I have a great deal of respect for Luke and I'm glad he has recovered from his knee problem too. The very best of luck to him.

As far as Vince goes I'm a firm believer that everything happens for a reason. I have seen alot of goofy things happen in this sport but this has got to be the goofiest.

Good Luck to you and your team PC!

I'm surprised any girl would go out with skater boy. But I heard she was one of the tops in BMX freestyle. That's cool I guess. But if skating is more important then I guess we know where his priorities are. More power to you Vince! Skaters Forever. FSC.

if it really was his decision not to make weight then that shows he really doesnt care so why are you all wishing him good luck next year, if he doesnt care he doesnt deserve it. But i dont know the whole story so he might of justed missed weight and not of done it intentionaly.

Well to answer your question why would people be wishing him luck next year....I think it may be because he is a decent person but has his priorities screwed up right now. I think there are still alot of people out here who like to feel that a big mistake can be turned around into a positive. I think the same way even though it's hard right now. To take off a little on what you say i will agree that if he does come back next year and he does it in the frame of mind he is in now I'll definitely tell him to forget about it. Don't disrespect this sport, it's athletes and coaches by doing it half-assed. Give it 100% for the 4 months or so or stay home. Maybe that's harsh but that's how we do things in this family.
