Hey Lock, or anyone else, I was wondering if you could give some predictions for the R'dale tournament. Any specific matches to watch?? Thanks in advance...

Well I will do the best I can with what I have... I dont have alot of info on this tourny...

What I know....
Iowa will be bringing some tough wrestlers to this tourny, with teams from Burlington, Davenport North and Assumption... I believe their is another but I cant recall...

Burlington- Their stud is Lower who will be in the 140-152 range, and he should challenge for a tournament title...

Davenport North- Lost their stud (Eric Hoffman), but I look for his younger brother to step it up at this tournament and have a great showing...

Assumption- They are back!!! They didnt attend last year, because of a problem with officals, but I guess everyone grew up a lil bit and both sides decided to play nicely.. Not sure what they have up and down, but Assumption usually has a few good wrestlers... I know they have Grothes at either 145/152/160... Not sure which weight though...

Missouri team..
Winchester Academy... I think thats the team... I know last year they had an OW, but I believe he was a Sr.

Illinois Teams:
Galesburg: Will be led by Mike Nelson who I believe will be at 130, I look for him to win this weight class... Also they have Knoll who I look to suprise some people tomorrow, I expect him to be about 140-145...

Dixon: Not on their entire line-up, but I do know the Dukes will come in strong... I know the lost Bishop last year, and I look for Hey to impress at 152...

Polo: Let the Cort Lawton show begin... Or will it not??? I have yet to see this kid wrestle this year, so i am looking forward to seeing where he is at....

Savanna: Saw them last weekend and I think they might have a long day on Saturday.....Not to strong up and down the line-up....

Aledo: The suprise team last year... They will just keep improving throughout the year and the next thing we will know is that they will be knocking on the door of team state.... Look for Rush to impress at 103, and Smith at 275... The boys in the middle, will all depend on their draw....

Riverdale: Will get its chance to win its own tourny.. I know Keppy sure worked his boys this week, after letting Alleman come back on them... Kindlesperg will have himself a tourny at 145, but I dont know if he will knock Lind or not... I am not sure if anyone knows... Gosa should be the favorite at 135... DeCap should win the title, and keep his space from Coach Sparky...

Alleman: This team just keeps suprising me... I went to Macomb to check them out last night, and next thing I know... They have a new addition to the team.. Its a gold fish as a mascot... No not really... They picked up a new HWT, its nothing like what Peterson was, but its an improvement from what they had... Now instead of the Pioneers giving 6 at HWT, I look for them to pick up a few... This way Barlow can go down to 215, and Burkhead can go down to his natural weight... Look for Alleman to challenge for the team title.. If Riverdale beats them, I will have ???? marks about this team, if not.. I know they are for real...

I know I have missed a few teams.. Like I said.. I dont know the entire field... I wish I did though... Tomorrow after I get some brackets in my hands I will have a better idea of who will pull what off...

But I look for the team race to be close...
Between...
Riverdale
Alleman
Aledo
Burlington
Dixon
