children crying for the correct reasons always bring feelings of injustice and helplessness to me. I know very well that you know very well, because we've "talked" about it before, that showing poverty just for its potentially picturesque quality is morally wrong. I recently read that shooting poverty and other tragic themes could well become, instead of "exploration", exploitation.
But this image is not the case. This is an image about pain, an emotion that everybody feels no matter his financial condition. It's not the clothes that attracts me here. I know that deep inside you know that this image is a powerful one. I'm sorry to be in disagreement with your comments, but I feel that you've captured a good one here, and for a good reason. And you should acknowledge it.
