I love minimalist music. What I am actually thinking about doing is taking a couple of actors for a full weekend to do a specific 'thematic' slide show, just have yet to find the theme to the slide show and write a script for it plus where it will be located with great backgrounds a little like "I will possess your heart" video by 'Dead Cab for cutie' something cool with the same people, one or two intersect with strangers. I just recently started the You Tube slide shows, I have 18 now up with the one I did yesterday... The first two being the strangest of them all. Now when I take pictures I think of slide shows and seldom if ever take "portrait" oriented pictures and I try my best to keep the main image centered in the 16:9 format knowing that part of the image will be cropped to fit in the 19:9 format.
Anywho, I could do a whole street corner for a full day and do a time lapse video as well ... that could be an interesting video/slide show as well with the light changing and maybe even the season as this photographer has done here: Toronto life cycle in 60 seconds at the 30 second mark it gets really interesting all of a sudden... Just working on it and will most likely use this forum as a testing facility for my experiments...
The thing with street photography is to go out there, the more you do it the more you'll get comfortable with it and the more you'll end up blending in the scenery without people noticing you, right now I am in a portrait mood where I actually want people to look at the camera while I capture their portraits... The series of slide shows I put together is here where the 18 slide shows can be found:http://www.youtube.com/user/whyareyouannoyingme#p/u
I will leave you with one worth watching the other are up to you if you want to see them... This one was put together with older and newer images from the past four years captured in 2 different cities
