Not sure why I "wait" or "force" majestic moments into the mundane. Or why I am influenced by paintings. But that is what it is.
I was looking at this image and was wondering to myself how one is to reconcile the fact that the scene looks probably "biblical" and yet the man to the left is actually wearing basketball shorts.
Slowly I'm trying to accept the possibility that this may well be a new aesthetic in local photography... like how we're supposed to "accept" telephone or electrical wires in a scene.
I enjoyed processing this one, looking for the ryhthm of the image so that I can precisely apply light and shadow touches to the frame without forcing it, so to speak. And... originally shot in b/w
