It's been a year since the disaster. Even in Ginza, people busy shopping stopped exactly at 2:46PM and gave a moment of silence. Elsewhere, there were anniversary event where the emperor attended just two weeks after the big heart bypass surgery and gave a few words. There were words by some of the survivors and each one of them made people cry again. Nature is too powerful. Human is too powerless. Haven't we been a bit too arrogant?
