it's somewhat easier to get color negative film developed around here than b&w. Normally I can get the color back in a few hours, while the b&w comes back in two working days and is more expensive than color to develop (by the lab). Color reversal also takes two working days... so if I am in a rush, I might use fujifilm Pro400H or Pro400 (now doing some testing with the latter).
From time to time I use digital and film at the same time... but two cameras are a bit heavy and I enjoy moving around with a light load
