. Kubo-san's shop is about one hour from my home (three different trains....), so I usually make a day of it and do some shopping on the way home... There's a very good English book store that I enjoy...
I hear you about the crop... A lot of "street" photographers are specific about using the whole frame without any crop, or minimal crop as long as you keep the same ratio... I never had such compulsion... I did layout work for a printing shop during high school and university ... it was all about using the best part of the image and filling the text around, choosing the fonts etc. What ever works, or what ever the customer wants
The guy at the photo shop were I buy film explained that Fujifilm Pro400 is even softer than Pro400H, so I will try a roll in the near future, but the root is b&w and I need to touch the root from time to time
