it's such a basic element of photography. You can flash it up with context or technique, but at the end of the day it's normally a man and his life's work

I was spending some time looking at 2 & 3... the color brings out certain aspects such as the piercing, and here the headstock (peghead) really stands outs... to my mind's eye the b&w captures the essence of his work, while the color shows the detail... depends on what you want to emphasize (for example as one element) in the portrait.
A lot of fingers and expressions with "Pavlov Dogs".
Outstanding shadow... we don't often get them so distinctive... it's like one big softbox around here most of the time.
