I struggle with #2 location... I guess an emotional tie-in would help, but not so often recently that a "friend" passes away... which is good... I think that I have taken photos at this location a couple of times a year for at least 5 years... and I walk thru about once a month. Maybe I just need more time hanging out... it's a very relaxing location close to a major shopping area.
Number seven is a restaurant... I gave some details in my reply to Eduardo above. The door actually looks new... I am sure it will darken with time... the door is plain wood with no paint.
Number seven was
talking to me as I walked past... it's in Shimokita-zawa, from whence I got my user_name. I use to live at this train station area. Shimokita-zawa means "below the north swamp", there is also kita-zawa (north swamp), and kamikita-zawa (above the north swamp)... so I guess there was a swamp around there at one time

. Shimokita-zawa is a student area, inexpensive food, bars, live houses (bars with live music), and drama theaters... as well the name has somewhat of a double entendre aspect... it's a popular location

.
I think that coin laundry had one washing machine... and BTW I am also visible in the "bonesetting" image

...
It's currently in the 30s here with high humidity... lots of rain in western Japan at the moment. It looks to be a hot August / September...
