Yesterday 08th.December was the 69th.anniversary of Pearl Harbour.
It brought back memories of our Hawaiian visit 6 years ago,end November.I had stood and observed several solemn momemts at the USS Arizona memorial,at BB39,in rememberance of all the young men who died there and also of my mother's youngest brother who fell at Monte Cassino, aged 21,a young Lieutenant in the Allied Expeditionary forces in Italy.
Hawaii always conjures happy images of the Hibiscus flower, which is like a national symbol of that beautiful place. Some new hibiscus shots in memory of all those men and women of so many years ago,who gave their all.
      Rest in Peace
