      About the photography, I know enough not to comment on the food!

      in the second pic the shadows are uneven, a dark area to the right side of the bowl, but none on the left. With everything else working towards symmetry, it was a bit jarring to me. Now I really like the shadows in the food, they give it more depth, so maybe working on a piece of shiny white plastic or something to hide the shadows?
