      Am weird that way.

Now that everything's gone, I still have residual dslr vision. This morning I was walking around Eduardo's old SJ equivalent here in Manila and kept telling myself... yeah, I would not have missed that shot if I had... Hahaha!!!

Withdrawal pains, definitely. But that's how I learn. No safety net. Otherwise, that dry box, you know? wink.gif

Having said that, I was practicing hyperfocal. Crappy shots but it don't matter. Learning mode. Glad to know it works. It should, right? :p

Struggling as usual with framelines and focusing wide open. I don't think the framelines are that accurate. Focusing... will definitely have to order a magnifier from match technical services. My eyesight ain't what it used to be!

Now I know why Bresson made that quip about your "first 10,000 shots..." Wasn't that relevant with DSLRs :p

      Gimme 2012 to practice wink.gif

Btw, am compiling observations 'through the eyes of a guy who grew up digital'. Essentially differences between Canon and Leica in terms of usage... not those tech stuff that you read from dxo and what not.

Should be interesting for those who take potshots at DSLRs and think that Leica is the end all and be all. Different shooting philosophies. Different frame of mind.

I used to wonder why Leica took a long time getting on the digital bandwagon. I'm now starting to understand why happy.gif
