Hi Casey, and happy weekend,
I've been a vegetarian for ten years or so, and a casual runner since my college days in the 1940s. Jurek's book is interesting because he wanted to find a way to compete in dangerously laborious races without eating meat. He quickly learned that a vegetarian lifestyle made his races easier, not harder, surprising himself and others. I can run 4-5 hours a week, but Jurek can easily do that in a day. His longest race was more than 160 miles in 24 hours. Jeepers. The book has some good recipes that I have tried, but some of the ingredients are difficult to find!
So anyway I found a B60 Hassy yellow filter for the 80mm lens and tried it for the first time last weekend (the pictures in my last post used it). I haven't taken pics of the sky with it yet but I'm looking forward to it. I think this filter will stay parked on the lens permanently.
I don't mind that Nikor vignetting at all.
Cheers,
Jeff
