Shots in the dark ; Karst caves....

The Reed Flute Caves, Guilin.
Sony T 11, handheld except for one,in which it was fired from a rock,by self timer.

Do some of the shots bear resemblence to an underground city,with a lake and sky scrapers ?

These underground worlds are definitely fascinating. I find that they exaggerated a wee bit with all those coloured lights, I would have preferred a more subdued, maybe even monochrome lighting.

You are right about the resemblance to cities, especially the last shot looks like a cityscape.

I must say, your Sony T 11 showed a great noise performance here.

in the caves James.

I assume the caves were lit by coloured floodlights to enhance the viewing experience.

We have similar caves here,

but they aren't as wildly color lighted as these. I guess our bats don't enjoy this kind of display
Anyway, it's a good color show, and a great opportunity for testing camera color reproduction capabilities.

Man, that has got to be some difficult shooting! Well done with a hand-held P&S! James, you sure do get around. Keep them coming so I can travel around the world with you in my imagination.
