the action of the birds or the amazing texture of the water splashes and ripples. By very far your best series yet-- both in capture and in composition. Fantastic! happy.gif

It was a gloomy morning and I had to find out how this lens(Pentax FA*300) would perform and your comments proved it for me.

Much appreciated.

Really splendid

I love these tones, as if you desaturated partially.
The second bird can be proud, as beautiful he is ! But the first one is a good fischer too.
And you, a great shooter.

I did not intend to have the shots come out this way.
Thank the equipment that enables us to take pictures no matter what the nature presents.
Much appreciated.

Very nice timing on the first image. with the reflection against the gray background and water everywhere.

and... knee deep in the the final image of the thread. The orange masked man strikes again wink.gif

Looks like a fun day out by the water.

by the waters. I am sure you know where the wetland is, here in So.Cal.
Even if the weather forecast is bad I would still go there just for a stroll along the back waters. Photography just adds to the fun of it.
Thank you for your kind remarks.

re: splash

The first photo, from the splash and displacement in the water to the droplets behind the bird that has a fish in it's mouth, conveys exactly what occurred on the capture. Well done!
