Wonderful tonalities Deniz. I like the contrast very much, both between the tones and also between the snow covered ground and the slick road. Very, very nice B&W's

The light was very bad, the place to find a point of view limited, very cold.
After the shot, I had to post process in BW.
pfff. several versions, trying not to loose quality but have a bit of details in mid tones.
So, I'm really pleased to see you appreciate.
that road in #1 gives off a nice tension...

amidst the busyness of the trees and the snow. it's like you wedged a clean sheet of glass into that scene.

B&W conversion works well here.
The first image works for me although both are great.
the BW conversion has not been easy

technically and about the choice. Grainy or not grainy. Sharpy or not ?
tones ? and so on.
I specially wanted having mid tones.
Seems OK !
