My wife and I were on vacation in NYC a couple of weeks ago. These were taken in the Village while she was shopping in a little boutique.

The twin graffiti laden mailboxes caught my eye. The sun was pretty harsh and when I looked at the display, these shots didn't look good, but they looked better once I downloaded them.

I'm curious about they reddish tones on the girls. Was a red fabric canopy on top of them? The photos work as commentaries.

it could be a case of overzealous saturation on my part.

I wrestled with whether to post these in B & W or color and decided on color because of the color range of these shots. I liked both B & W and color though.

Color for those group of girls to the right

But bw strengthens the geometry somewhat as I just noticed now how those two mailboxes match the wheels of the bicycle.
