I remember that the big thing was rejecting our parents' materialism.... We were going to raise our kids right! Then came the '80's and many hippies morphed into yuppies. And they DIDN'T hesitate to use those credit cards.
But that IBM Selectric was one sweet typewriter. And my first car was a 1964 Dodge Dart. With the push button transmission. Of course, it was 1968 before it became mine.
