that you are ok. That must have been terrible. As far as augmentin or any other drug you don't want, just say no. It is your body and you should be firm with a lot of things. Most people just let the doc do whatever b/c afterall, it is a doctor. They are not God but most of them think they are.
Why didn't they consider that to be a side effect of the med instead of putting you thru all of those tests? Do you have good insurance? Don't get me started. ( I think it's too late).

It pisses me off that most people give the doctors all of the control. I have watched such vulnerability in people who don't understand why the doctor is doing this or that but never questions them. I have a reputation for telling the doctor what I think my diagnosis is and if I don't want a particular drug or any drug for that matter, I tell them.

Wooo, I digress. Just know that it is the only body you have. Always go with your intuition in taking care of it. I hope you continue to get well.
