Looked in the 1965 Yellow Pages with no success. But I did find some interesting names:

Boom Boom Room -- 6233 S. Claiborne
Golliwog Lounge -- 119 S. Claiborne at Canal ("Meet the Golliwog Girls").
The Out House at 6233

And I found Lou & Bob's on Nursery.

Also re: Magazine St., there was an Ell Bar at 4336 Magazine BUT in the 4500 block was Silver Slipper Lounge at 4520.

And that's all she wrote.
