I never knew that! I took a ride past there on the way home from lunch today and the building is basically the same, except they closed off the corner entry and plastered over it and the oval windows that used to face both Claiborne and Poydras Streets. The place looks like a warehouse now. When we used to sneak over there at night to drink beer while we we were working across the street it wasn't a White Kitchen.....this was in early 1964.
