I'm watching The Three Tenors concert video on PBS, and as good as Domingo and Carreras are on their own, when they all come together, it is so obvious that Pavarotti is so much more than the other two. I hate that he is gone.
We watched that same video - got it from the library - last week. There's no-one like Pavarotti, but Carreras and Domingo are no slouches. Didn't you just melt at the last encore when they all three did Nessun Dorma?
That's great. Unfortunately my cellphone is ancient as cellphones go and is not capable of downloaded ringtones. Whenever it finally bites the dust and I'm forced to get a new one, I will enjoy this site.
