There are many groups of faith that claim that, God is everywhere, of God is omnipresent. Do you know that this is a great fallacy, as far as the Bible is concerned? This is what Acts 17:24 says, “God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth dwelleth not in temples made with hands.”
The Bible clearly said that, God does not dwell in temples made by hands of men. In other words, God is not in places made by hands. He does not dwell there even if that temple had been regarded as a “magnificent house of worship,” like what had been published in “Pasugo.”
If God is not there, it only means one thing: It is not true that God is everywhere. God is not omnipresent, like many religious groups, who do not understand the Bible, claim.
Proofs to this are reflected in the Holy Scriptures if only one would thoroughly and intelligently examine it. In a place where righteousness does not dwell, God does not dwell there either. This is what II Kings 5:15 says, “And he returned to the man of God, he and all his company, and came, and stood before him: and he said, Behold, now I know that there is no God in all the earth, but in Israel: now therefore, I pray thee, take a blessing of thy servant.”
This verse confirms that, at first, God did not dwell in the whole world but only in Israel. However, when Israel parted from righteousness, God likewise abandoned them. This was written in II Chro. 15:3, “Now for a long season in Israel hath been without the true God, and without a teaching priest, and without law.”
It clearly tells us that, the God of peace and righteousness, the real God who made the heavens and earth, does not dwell in places where peace and righteousness do not prevail. Instead of God, it is Satan, also called god of this world, who dwells in those places. This is according to II Cor. 4:4. “In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine upon them.”
Wherever chaos and wickedness dwell, there also dwells the devil, and not God. It is clearly stated in James 3:16,15. “For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work. This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.”
Therefore, we must not believe those who claim that God is everywhere, or God is omnipresent. That is a blatant lie! |
