For the curious...

This is from the 2005 Section 4 Football Handbook:

If the finalists are from the same division, the higher seed will be the home team. If the finalists are from different divisions then; in an odd year the odd division will be home and in an even year the even division will be home.

So, according to this, this is an odd year (2005), Owego is in the odd division (Division 3) and will be the home team.

Mixed Feelings

Didn't the Forks opt to take the visitors side at Alumni a couple of years ago? I'll admit it was pretty cramped, but I also remember it being really loud. I don't know if the crowd we had yesterday would have fit, and would suspect/hope we have more next week.

No, it was the same situation. Teams from different divisions and it was an odd year (2003) and Norwich got the home side. (Many CF-ers sat on that side anyway, including me. MUCH better view of the game...I do at most "road" games if there's a markedly better view of the game...except Elmira Notre Dame, I REFUSE to sit on the home side of that place.)
