Below is a copy of the text I placed last night on section4football.com officially announcing a new local internet sports broadcasting venture. Three CF games are on their 2006 schedule. - Mike

While more traditional methods of announcements are forthcoming in the local television, radio and print media, I am please to be the first to officially announce that a new local business venture has been formed whose sole purpose is to bring Greater Binghamton area high school and Broome Community College sporting events LIVE to the internet and it's all for the fans and best of all...it's absolutely FREE for all who have internet access!
Matt Brannen and his associates have worked hard to put this together and will be launching this new and exciting era in Southern Tier sports on the opening weekend of the high school football season with the September 1st (Friday night) clash between Syracuse Fowler and Binghamton and then on Saturday afternoon when Chenango Forks travels to Maine-Endwell. Both games will be live on the internet and for an added neat feature, will be available in their archives 24/7 for listening any time you wish.
After the football season is over they will continue with high school and college basketball, and in the springtime they will offer baseball and softball games.
I cannot speak for Matt and his associates, but I am sure that they are excited to bring forth this new era in Southern Tier Sports and I hope you all are as excited as I am about this.
Their website is now online at www.southerntiersportsnetwork.com for you to poke around and see all they plan to offer.
So please, support Matt and his associates with your ears and support their sponsors who are equally making this possible.
