A tough loss to be sure but I was very impressed to see how well our team handled it. Even though I'm sure everyone was very emotional inside about the loss, the team and coaches took it on the chin and lined up like the true sportsmen that they are to shake the hands of the players and coaches on the Corning East Team that ended the 'current' set of winning streaks. That was an extremely difficult task and took a great deal of character. Although the loss was hard, it was just great to see a group of fine young men handle themselves so well in this situation. This CF team, coaches and our school district have much to be proud of and of course, being an eternal optimist, I beleive that this loss will only serve to strenghten the will and resolve of the team. I'm still looking forward to those playoff games in November. I expect to see Blue Devils on the field. You can knock a Devil down once in a while but WE always get back up! Rock on Devils! You are always #1.
