Yes, unfortunately the adjustments for collimation and sharpness and tests of ROM require specialized test equipment known only to Minolta, and now maybe not even to them
.
Lots of other good info in these 700 pages, the exploded drawings and part descriptions and disassembly/reassembly instructions are very helpful for many repairs.
