Are you sure? Certainly it is tight and the regular plastic molding for the gold connectors is at least twice as big as the gap left with that rear element ... but if you whittled away the excess plastic and reconnected the tabs to go outside anyway ... to connect with some nice external switches...:-))
Focus confirmation would be real sweet. Probably AS is tuned by default somewhere around 50mm, so not much difference on the 58, but for other lenses it could be a big benefit, eg a nice 1000f11 Nikon/Meade mirror lens ... i can't get AS to work worth a d*** on my Meade - but if i adapt it to my A1 i can do pretty good as it already is thinking ~350mm by setting the telephoto adapter in SW. | |
