My unit had a small problem, maybe not noticed under most circumstances. It would falsely trigger when exposed to direct sunlight or when very close to a halogen light.
The circuit and the code has now been updated to correct this. There are no adverse effects from this and the latest model operates in all other aspects like the old one.
The life test on the battery is now 8 months and still going.
