I was so extremely disappointed with the Red Fish Grill on Sunday. My Dad was in town with some friends from work and they were looking for somewhere good, not too touristy and casual. Based on my recommendation we went to the Red Fish Grill.
There simply wasn't enough food on the plates. The service was fine until we asked for the dessert menu. (since we were still hungry) When we passed on the dessert idea, the waitress, snatched them from the table. Attitude because we weren't having dessert? I won't be recommending dinner there again. There are too many other fine restaurants in New Orleans.

...with the previous poster. I try not to judge restaurants during MG or JF, but during Jazz Fest is when we went to RFG with 25 music lovers from 13 states, Canada & Australia. Service was agonizingly slow....that was.... OK, we were talking. However, it took over an hour for us to get drinks & have our order taken, another 45 minutes to receive appetizers. The food was marginal and very $$$. We were the local hosts for this party and were extremely embarrassed, given the wonderful choices in our city! We won't be back, nor will we recommend this restaurant to anyone.
