Liuzza’s on Bienville

Had lunch at this old place (the same place I had my first under-legal-age beer back in the 70s—I think they card kids now). Onion rings still wonderful but the serving size looked smaller than usual which was fine because I was dining with my daughter, neither of us are “big” eaters. Daughter had a shrimp po-boy and fresh cut fries. I had, for the first there, fried chicken that was very good in the homemade style. Two schooners of draft and the bill was $25 and change. Service was comfortable and friendly, as always.

Nothing new about anything in this “review”--I just love the place, always have, and hope it thrives at least until I can take my grandchildren there.
