Chatham and London goalies best friends?

With so many rivalries between junior teams, especially Chatham and London, I found it interesting to learn that Chatham's goalie Clark, is in fact best friends with London's goalie Chestnut. For those of you that do in fact play against friends, do you find you continue to play to your fullest potential, or is the game viewed as being not as serious? Just a question I was interested in learning more about.
