Response to Book on the hawks? |
|
Believe it or not, I feel like i'm re-reading the book. We previouslynoted Hamilton's inability to lower their GAA and even suggested Midget AA tender Clause could be called when needed. Asone observer posted, What's wrong with the present tender? Nothing that a better determination defensively should help.. so what did they do since then, became giant killers. Tourney play is not suspect, they've Participated in every tournament available which adds dramatically to achieving their goals. A tournament win and domination over Windsor(last years silver) makes them more than an honourable mention. Incidently the midgets from last year upset London in league finals. Reason- everyone took them for granted and then they rose at the end of the day, put the win in the back pockets and giggled their way into summer. By the way a similar team called Burlington Midget AA last year paralelled Hamilton and deserved the same respect. Obviously that's why these teams love to compete against each other. Noticeably, Burlington hasn't risen to the challenge this year with their total youth movement. It's gonn hurt for a few years. Sorry | |
