Regardless of how McGill does this weekend I am sure there will be fires to be put out by Peter Smith and his coaching staff.
The CIS needs to change their rules as quite simply Kim as good as she is should not be allowed to play and she already has. That is a true fallacy within the team concept. Thanks Kate Townsend for standing on your head all year, but come the CIS and a chance to play on TSN if we make the gold medal game you will be on the bench.
For the OUA the girls have to play in at least 5 games and goalies have to dress for at least 5 which is fair. I know many coaches are peeved at this and are hoping to make an amendment to this rule at the CIS level.
Just by looking at the results I don't think anyone can stop Alberta, but should be interesting to see.
