| Alright, so we can all agree to disagree on this point. The game got out of hand, players and parents alike said and did things they shouldn't have, but you can't say that it was the doing of just one team. What I find interesting, is how the players on London and Bluewater will sit in the lobby before a game a talk to eachother. After the game, they shake hands, hug each other, and many go back to being friends. Now you're saying that London is a brutal team that has no talent, or class. Yet, somebody from the Bluewater team wrote into the London Free Press and badmouthed the London Juniors. Saying they "whitewashed them" and basically attacked the girls playing hockey for London. Is that an attack on the girls playing or the organization? In my opinion, writing to a newspaper to badmouth a team of 15-18 year old girls who had absolutely nothing to do with the coaching selections, or the board decisions isn't that classy either . How can you claim to be such a talented team that doesn't need to get involved with such immature acts, when players/ parents from your own team have the need to publicize their victories? Is that what you consider to be classy? Personally, I think that this whole thing has gone way too far. Sorry your coach from last year didn't get the team, and sorry that many of you felt shortchanged. It's too bad that things like that happen, and its not what the game is all about. However, the girls that actually play hockey for London, really have nothing to do with what goes on in these situations. Your hostility towards the organization is noted, and many people are compastionate towards your feeligs, but its the end of the season, and it might be about time to let that go. The Bluewater girls seem to be happy playing where they are, and the London girls have no complaints about their coaches or teammates, its about time to move on. Every team has dirty players, and no bluewater, you're not excused from that either. Regardless of what you think, you have players that stick, slash and check like all the other teams. You're a talented group of girls and congratulations on you're success this year, but before we pointing any fingers and claiming that London isn't classy, why don't you re-read some of the previous posts your bluewater teammates have made about London. Most people wouldn't consider those to be very "classy" either. | |
